SkyVault Login Support: Troubleshooting Common Access Issues

Solutions for password errors, account locks, ISP restrictions, and more

Introduction
If you’re having trouble logging into your SkyVault account, don’t worry — this guide covers the most common issues and how to fix them. Whether you’re seeing a spinning wheel, missing a password reset email, or being blocked by your internet provider, the following tips will help you get back online quickly and securely.

1. Temporary Account Lock

Issue: Multiple unsuccessful login attempts can trigger a temporary 4-hour security lock. This may result in:

  • Being blocked from further attempts

  • A spinning wheel with no error message

Why It Happens: SkyVault uses adaptive security to prevent brute-force attacks, especially if an unsecured connection or suspicious login behaviour is detected.

Solution:

  • Wait four hours before attempting to log in again

  • Ensure you’re using the correct email and password

  • If access is still blocked, contact support and request manual IP block removal (your IP is your unique internet connection ID)

2. Password Reset Emails Not Received

Issue: Password reset emails can sometimes be filtered into spam or junk folders.

Solution:

  • Check your spam, junk, or promotions folders

  • If you don’t find the email, request a new reset link via the login page

Still no email? Contact support and confirm the correct address is linked to your SkyVault account.

3. Browser Cache and Cookies

Issue: Outdated or corrupted cache and cookies can interfere with the login process.

Solution:

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies

  • Then try logging in again from a fresh session

  • You can find clearing instructions in your browser’s help or settings menu

4. Internet Service Provider (ISP) Restrictions

Issue: Certain UK internet providers (e.g., BT Internet, Virgin Media) may block access to some platforms as part of their network security filters.

Solution:

  • Switch to a different Wi-Fi network or use mobile data

  • Alternatively, try logging in from another device (such as a phone or tablet)

This workaround often restores access when ISP-based restrictions are involved.
